Jessica Cruz was born and raised in San Diego, California. She discovered her love for design when she was 15 years old. Even at that young age she knew then she wanted to pursue Design as a lifelong career. She graduated with honors at San Diego State University where she earned her B.A. in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design.
After graduating, she became a Freelance Production Artist at Barona Resort and Casino and was introduced to the world of marketing. She then transitioned her focus and became a Designer at Upper Deck Inc. where she gained licensing experience with several distinguished brands. Most recently, she worked at Life Gear where she learned the in’s and out’s of graphic design in a retail setting. Many of her designs can now be found at well known stores such as Target, Walmart, and Costco.
With all of these experiences she has gained an overall appreciation for design, marketing, and retail. This has provided her with the ability to solve problems and contribute creative ideas and solutions in ways to collectively reach a goal.
On her off time, Jessica loves to spend time with her family, husband and two dogs eating, painting, cooking and drinking a good ol’ pint of beer.
